New Year's Eve has come and gone, but when it comes to fashion, the time for the new is now. As we get ready for spring (it might still feel like it's far away, but fashion thinks ahead!), it's time to discover what lies ahead – and this year's vegan fashion offering is both impressive and eclectic.

Sustainably minded brands have truly stepped up their game with covetable collections that you'll want to wear because of their style factor, in addition to their ethical credentials. From luxury designer accessories to high-quality, easy-to-wear apparel, we are facing an undeniably exciting season of style. Here are the brands that we will be keeping an eye on in 2023.
Colourful and unique, Momoc's shoes are a conversation-starting piece. Their eye-catching designs, embellished with colourful embroidery and imaginative art, are not the only thing that sets this vegan footwear brand apart. Momoc often uses recycled materials and plant-based leathers such as pineapple and corn leather – and the brand also donates 10% of profits to animal sanctuaries in their home country of Spain, to help animals in more ways than one.
Always exploring new plant-based materials like apple leather and corn leather, Italian label Miomojo carries a range of vegan handbags for any occasion: from structured totes in subdued shades for the office and weekend bags in recycled PET to colour-popping cross-bodies and subtly shimmering evening designs, this brand's range is pretty much an entire bag wardrobe – a one-stop destination for all your handbag needs.
This sleek and sophisticated label blends ethics with aesthetics with its timelessly chic designs. Mila.Vert works with GOTS-certified organic cotton to create minimalist styles that make for a subtly, knowingly elevated wardrobe. Here, you will find muted hues and clean, simple silhouettes – not to mention pieces you will want to keep forever: this brand's comforting cruelty-free knitwear is a vegan fashionista's dream.
Looking for an ankle boot? A flat, chunky summer sandal? Or a dainty stiletto in a punchy shade? Whatever your footwear wardrobe calls for this year, you will find it at luxury vegan brand AERA. This planet-forward shoe company values transparency, frequently assessing their production for environmental impact and then offsetting it by investing in projects such as Green Trees Reforestation Project. Only available for sale in the US right now.
Since 2018, V.Gan has been dedicated to bringing affordable, high-quality shoes to consumers looking for vegan fashion. Relying heavily on recycled materials, V.Gan uses linings made from recycled plastic bottles and insoles made from recycled polyurethane – and their shoelaces are crafted from organic cotton. As the brand is big on comfort, their range includes soft slippers that feel like clouds, alongside heavy-duty boots that can take on anything from a long hike to a big city.
