Ozero Swimwear make premium, beautifully designed swimwear using ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon fibre made from rescued plastic waste such as fishing nets. This high quality Italian fabric is impressively comfortable and durable, with exceptional shape retention, chlorine and suntan creams resistance and excellent UV protection.
All Ozero pieces are constructed in Bali, Indonesia. Their aim is to create strong, sophisticated pieces for women who want to look beautiful and feminine yet feel comfortable and empowered.
The brand was founded by Russian model Elena Cheurina, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Living and working as a model, mostly in tropical countries, Elena became inspired by the designers she worked with, and the passion and love they put into their creations. Eventually, she decided to start her own ecofriendly swimwear brand.
“Ozero” is a transliteration of the Russian word “озеро”, which means “lake” in English. That’s why each swimwear style in Ozero's collection is named after the lakes in Russia and around the world, e.g. Baikal, Ladoga, Rotorua, Malawi and Como.
