These on-trend black vegan ankle boots are one of our perennial bestsellers, and come from super cool French vegan brand Good Guys. The vegan leather is already soft and supple, which means these boots don't require “breaking in”.
They're made from a revolutionary new Apple Skin leather. Apple Skin is made from the skin and core waste recovered from the food industry, and is both soft and supple as well as hard-wearing. The material contains a minimum of 50% apple fibre and is created in Bolzano, Italy by Frumat, winners of the 2018 Technology and Innovation Award at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Milan.
Sizing: These boots are unisex, and the sizing covers both women's and men's sizes. The fit is accurate / true to size.
Care: We recommend to only use products that are meant for microfibre and synthetic Leather. Clean the upper part of your shoes, use a soft brush (or Toothbrush) and brush the shoes gently after the rain or once a month to get the dust and dirt out of them, that will keep them "looking good".Wash separately the removable sole with cold water.
Packaging: Boxes are made of recycled paper. With each pair of shoes, you will find a high-quality Good Guys cotton bag made in Italy that you can use for carrying your personal items while traveling or wrap and protect your shoes in your suitcase.
About the brand
Good Guys were the first 100% vegan footwear company in France, and have since developed their collections year on year, collecting many fans, including the actor Emma Watson and the singer Miley Cyrus.
Good Guys are sweatshop-free, with all their shoes made in Portugal in a fair-trade environment. All the materials they use for their shoes are eco-friendly and sustainable, and include a zero CO2 emissions vegan leather made in Italy using polymers derived from cereals and vegetable seeds, and apple leather. They are heading towards being 100% recyclable in 2021.
Delivery
As a marketplace, all items are shipped to you directly by our brands, using tracked delivery. If you have purchased multiple items from different brands at the same time, each item will be sent separately.
Many of our brands offer free domestic shipping (or free over a certain spend limit).
Some offer free international shipping depending on your location and / or order value.
Where this isn’t the case, the majority of orders will have shipping costs no higher than the following:

Returns
Please note that you are responsible for the costs of returning an item, unless the brand offers free or subsidised returns. This will be stated in the green box at the top of this page. Return costs will vary depending on the brand's location in relation to yours. The brand's country is also stated in the green box.
You have 14 days to inform us of your desire to return an item, and then a further 14 days from the date you notify us to send back the item. See our Returns page for full details.

If you order an item that ships to you from within your own country, there will be not be any additional taxes, duties or fees on receipt of goods.
If you order an item that ships to you from another country, your order may be subject to import duties, which are the result of international trade agreements between countries. However please note that:
- For UK customers, many items made in the EU are also exempt from any import charges;
- For US customers, all orders under $800 are also duty free, which means there will be no additional fees applied;
- For EU customers, all orders from within the EU are exempt from any import charges.
