Hēdoïne is a female-founded brand guided by a commitment to responsible production, offering award-winning, ladder-resistant tights that are made to last longer and challenge throwaway fashion. Setting a new standard in the hosiery industry, Hēdoïne is tackling every pain-point to create tights as they should be: durable, soft, and sag-free, no seams or gussets and a shaping waistband that is extremely comfortable. Basics far from boring that celebrate those who wear them boldly.

Founders

Alexandra Tymann and Anna Alexanian created Hēdoïne in 2018 to offer something different in the word of hosiery:  tights that make you feel great and that wouldn’t add to the fashion world’s ever-growing disposable culture. They started with the world’s first 20-denier ladder-resistant seamless tights and also launched biodegradable tights.

“Hēdoïne exists to bring new meaning to modern femininity; elevating strong, bold fashionistas and their style essentials.”

Materials

The brand's ladder-resistant tights are made from microfibre yarns that are extremely soft and knitted with 3D technology for maximum comfort. Their biodegradable designs are made with biodegradable yarn that is compostable at the end of its lifespan – and which incorporates recycled materials, rescuing normally non-biodegradable yarns from landfill.

People

All workers are paid fairly. The brand also places a lot of attention on gender equality in its supply chain.

Production

Hēdoïne produces its opaque designs in the UK and its biodegradable range in Italy. All products are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, meaning that they are checked for pesticides, heavy metals, poisonous colouring and carcinogenic chemicals that can be harmful to humans and the environment.

Packaging

All Hēdoïne packaging is made from 100% recycled materials.

Animals

Hēdoïne is proud to be a vegan brand.
