What is vegan denim?
Vegan denim is made of cotton so no animals are used in its production. Some jeans now can be made with a blend of cotton and a secondary synthetic fibre such as polyester or elastane to give it more stretch or durability but if so, it’s still vegan.
Are all denim clothes 100% vegan?
Yes, denim is a sustainable fabric made of cotton so it’s 100% vegan. But jeans are often rendered non-vegan by the leather label on the waistband. All the denim items we sell are 100% vegan.
What is the difference between vegan denim and regular denim?
Denim is vegan. Whether it’s made of 100% cotton or a cotton-synthetic blend, there should be no difference. Just check that any other added component – like a branded patch on jeans – isn’t made of animal leather. All the denim items we sell are 100% vegan.
