These are the most frequently asked questions about Women's Vegan Loafers:

Vegan loafers are made without the use of any animal materials, including leather, suede, fur, silk or wool. There are a wide variety of vegan materials that can be used to make vegan loafers, including polyurethane (also known as PU); however, we select brands using the highest quality vegan leathers, such as Piñatex (which is made from pineapple leaf fibres), Vegea grape leather (made from leftover grapes from the wine industry), olive leather, Desserto cactus leather, apple leather, Oleatex olive leather, cork, and MIRUM, the world's first fully plastic-free vegan leather. Check our loafers made from corn and apple leather at AGAZI and Minuit Sur Terre.

That depends on the style and the fabric in question. Canvas and fabric vegan loafers are not waterproof, vegan or otherwise. But some of our vegan loafers are water-resistant and some are also waterproof, as well as durable and 100% vegan. Many of the new vegan leathers tend to be water resistant.

There's really no difference here between vegan and non vegan loafers – it all depends on the quality and fit of the brand and the styles you choose. We partner with premium footwear brands at Immaculate Vegan to bring you stylish and comfortable designer vegan loafers.

Use a dry cloth to lightly wipe any dust or dirt off your vegan loafers. With soapy water and a cloth, gently clean the material. Do not submerge the loafers – this could cause irreversible damage. Let your loafers dry away from direct sunlight, and once they are dry, apply a small amount of polishing cream using a dry, soft cloth. Rub the cream sparingly over the shoes in a circular motion until it is fully absorbed. Leave your loafers to dry naturally for 24 hours and they'll be good to go.
