NINA REIN offers premium business wear for modern women without compromising on sustainability or style. The design is clean, feminine and colourful, and each piece includes little details everyone loves.
Julia is the designer and founder of NINA REIN. After shifting her nutrition step by step towards more planet conscious diet, buying food locally, and living more mindfully, Julia wanted to take the same approach in her career and design sustainable clothes. She could not find any brand that corresponded to that idea and thus she founded NINA REIN. Susanne joined in 2020 for the same reasons. Their professional backgrounds in the fashion industry complement each other and their tireless search for sustainability and handcraft turn them into a great team.
NINA REIN is completely sustainable. From the garments to the recycled packaging materials and the eco-friendly delivery. Munich based brand insists on short ways of transportation, high craftmanship and fair payments.
Materials They use natural materials from organic farming sources and produced as sustainably as possibly. Their latest range is made from Lyocell (silky fabric made from wood pulp cellulose), organic cotton and organic linen. Their fabrics come in expressive colours proving that natural materials can be interesting! The use of natural plant-based buttons instead of the usual plastic ones shows the diversity of the possibilities to counteract the flood of plastic. They source 90% (and rising) of their fabrics from Europe. The advantages are obvious: lower transport emissions, high standards for workers safety and sustainability.
Made in Europe Production takes place in European companies with fair working conditions and in compliance with high safety standards. Their pay is fair and enables everyone involved to live a life free of poverty. The transport routes are kept short in order to avoid unnecessary emissions.
