VEGAN Happy

UK-based label VEGAN Happy creates an affordable range of activist-inspired apparel for men, women and children. From t-shirts to sweatshirts, plus accessories such as beanies and backpacks, all VEGAN Happy items are versatile, comfortable, and guaranteed cruelty-free.

Founder

Lorri Delahunty wanted a t-shirt that subtly conveyed the vegan message – so that her wardrobe could be a conversation-starter, without being too shouty. She came up with the brand at her kitchen table, ideating a logo in classic monochrome that could be worn anywhere.

Materials

The brand works with organic cotton where possible, as well as recycled plastic filler for jackets. The bags are made with Saffiano PU vegan leather with recycled inner materials. All material suppliers are closely monitored to match VEGAN Happy's values.

Production

Manufacturing takes place in the UK, Europe, and India. The brand regularly checks their supply chain to ensure their core values are being followed.

People

VEGAN Happy only works with suppliers that have clear anti-slavery policies and can ensure an ethical workplace. All employees are paid a living wage.

Animals

VEGAN Happy is a 100% vegan brand, which is its key core value and mission.

Charity Donations

10% of proceeds go to animal charities – but in 2023, VEGAN Happy donated 33% of their turnover to the cause. The brand has also put on a festival at an animal sanctuary to raise funds.

Packaging

All VEGAN Happy products are sent in 100% recyclable packaging. Large orders are shipped in an organic cotton bag which can be reused as a laundry sack. The print used on the company's labels is vegan ink.
