About the Founder
Animal lover Suzanne Harper founded A Perfect Jane, inspired by nature and driven by her love of fashion. The strong bond she shared with her dog, Jane (after whom the brand is named!) prompted Suzanne to go vegan, but one thing she struggled with after making the leap was finding well-made, sustainable vegan boots. So she decided to create them.

“Cruelty-free, sustainable, and looking great – that's our mission.”

Materials
All materials used by A Perfect Jane come from Europe. The brand works with vegan apple leather from Italy – a beautiful material that has the look and feel of animal leather, without using any animals in the process. A Perfect Jane also uses vegan eco-suede from Spain. The insoles of the boots are made of cork, which is a biodegradable, breathable and naturally regenerative material. To showcase their passion for nature, the brand's designs feature a bright green outsole with a printed leaf on every boot. The styles are finished with a block heel that has just the right height to dance the night away – but comfortable enough for the walk home.

People
The brand visits their factory twice per year to monitor labour conditions and meet the craftspeople working on bringing their designs to life.

Production
The company has regular contact with their manufacturer – a family-owned factory in Portugal.

Packaging
A Perfect Jane boots are shipped in FSC-certified boxes.

Animals
A Perfect Jane is a PETA-Approved Vegan brand – for the animals and for the planet.
