Organique

This brand manufactures in the EU. As a result of EU/UK free trade agreements, there are no import duties on delivery to the UK or to any EU country. US customers do not pay any import duties on orders below $800.

Founded in 2021, sustainable apparel and activewear brand Organique was created with the mission to care for the environment, animals and people. This Portuguese label believes in ethically made clothing and in a supply chain that respects the humans making the garments.

About the Founders

Following  their success with vegan footwear brand NAE Vegan Shoes, husband-and-wife entrepeneur team Paula and Alex Perez decided to expand into activewear with Organique. Alex is an IT professional, while Paula has a master in Information Management. The couple both also studied Applied Mathematics before exploring their passion for entrepreneurship to launch NAE.

“Great clothing shouldn’t have to come at the expense of the planet, so we set out to create a collection that is comfortable and fashionable as well as vegan, sustainable and organic.”

Materials

The materials used by Organique are certified by GOTS, BCI or Lenzing. Organic cotton is among the textiles the brand uses, as is lyocell and buttons made from corozo – a type of nut that derives from Ecuador. The brand is also PVC-free. Materials are locally sourced where possible.

Production

Organique produces locally in Portugal. The certifications used for the materials assure social responsibility is prioritised throughout the supply chain.

People

Organique is a living-wage employer and only works with partners who can assure that human rights in the supply chain is a priority.

Packaging

Only FSC-certified paper is used for the brand's packaging, and their mailer is compostable.

Animals

Organique is a vegan brand, taking great care to assure that materials are 100% free from animal-derived ingredients.
