These are the most frequently asked questions about Women's Mary Jane Vegan Shoes:

Yes, we find that vegan flats are as comfortable as animal-leather versions. As with all shoes, the higher the quality you can buy, the more comfortable they will be. Choose comfortable styles such as vegan loafers or vegan sneakers for the most comfort for all day wear.

Many vegan flats now are made using high quality and durable materials, and many of the new vegan leathers are of very high quality. But you can make your vegan sandals last longer by taking care of them well. With proper care, vegan sandals can last for many years, depending on how much wear and tear they encounter, which is the same as their animal-leather counterparts.

You can stretch vegan leather flats but they are unlikely to get more than half a size larger. To stretch them, wear them around the home with thicker socks to break them in. You can then use a hairdryer while keeping them on your feet to shape them to your feet. Alternatively, use a leather-stretching spray or conditioner oil which will help soften the material and stretch it out.

Use a dry cloth to lightly wipe any dust or dirt off your vegan leather flats. With soapy water and a cloth, gently clean the material. Do not submerge the sandals – this could cause irreversible damage. Let your flats dry away from direct sunlight, and once they are dry, apply a small amount of polishing cream using a dry, soft cloth. Rub the cream sparingly over the shoes in a circular motion until it is fully absorbed. Leave your shoes to dry naturally for 24 hours and they'll be good to go.
