Syvênde Swimwear helps women all over the world lead a more sustainable luxurious life, and their vision is to lead the fashion industry in a more ecologically and socially sustainable direction.
Launched in Sweden in 2019 by founder and designer Merima Zeljkovic Abrigo, they design swimsuits and bikinis made using ECONYL® regenerated nylon, a yarn made of abandoned fishing nets, fabric scraps & industrial plastic from landfills and oceans all over the world. The yarn is woven into a premium swimwear fabric which is soft and silky to the touch, and is used instead of virgin nylon which is normally made out of crude oil or coal.
They believe that instead of hiding what a woman may be ashamed of, swimwear should emphasise what a woman is proud of. They have already dressed royalty, ELLE-bloggers, actresses and influencers.
Always striving for elegant perfection, they are developing new designs, as well as bags and other beach accessories. They offer free and fast shipping worldwide in recycled cardboard boxes and donates money to the NGO the Ocean Cleanup. In January 2020, they were chosen as 1 of 20 design talents at Formex 2020, a leading Nordic design arena.
