This dog harness forms part of the City Harness range, upgraded from the core collection for improved quality and design.
Crafted to ensure complete comfort, the y-shaped harness design helps to distribute weight and alleviate neck pressure (particularly beneficial for brachycephalic breeds).
With reinforced webbing and delicate stitching, the City Harness offers enhanced safety during dog walks.
Instructions:
- To fit, simply place the unbuckled harness on the ground and gently pop your dog's front paws through the harness leg holes.
- Then, pull the harness up onto your dog and position the straps between their shoulder blades.
- Once correctly fitted, clip the heavy duty buckle in at the centre of the back and adjust the harness straps accordingly.
Sizing:
- The dog harnesses are available in four sizes to be enjoyed by a wide range of breeds.
- While Barc tends to recommend sizes XS/S to customers shopping for a puppy harness, please remember that all dogs are different.
- For this reason, it’s important to compare your pup's measurements to the size guide and breed advice prior to purchase.
Tip: Each dog harness features sliders on the chest straps which can be adjusted for a more precise fit.
How to measure a dog for a harness:
Use a soft measuring tape to get the following measurements:
- Chest: Wrap the tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, which is usually just behind its front legs.
- Lower neck: Wrap the tape around your dog’s lower neck, which is below the upper neck where the collar sits.
Tip: If your dog is between sizes, it is suggested to go up a size.

Where this isn’t the case, the majority of orders will have shipping costs no higher than the following:

Returns
Please note that you are responsible for the costs of returning an item, unless the brand offers free or subsidised returns. This will be stated in the green box at the top of this page. Return costs will vary depending on the brand's location in relation to yours. The brand's country is also stated in the green box.
You have 14 days to inform us of your desire to return an item, and then a further 14 days from the date you notify us to send back the item. See our Returns page for full details.

If you order an item that ships to you from within your own country, there will be not be any additional taxes, duties or fees on receipt of goods.
If you order an item that ships to you from another country, your order may be subject to import duties, which are the result of international trade agreements between countries. However please note that:
- For UK customers, many items made in the EU are also exempt from any import charges;
- For US customers, all orders under $800 are also duty free, which means there will be no additional fees applied;
- For EU customers, all orders from within the EU are exempt from any import charges.
