"The details are not the details, they make the design." - Charles Eames SEPTEMBER the Line, when design and function meet at sea.
Founded on modernist design principles that honour simplicity, form and function over unnecessary details, SEPTEMBER focus on fit, colour, and sustainable materials. With streamlined silhouettes, they never sacrifice performance and always deliver timeless classics.
SEPTEMBER use ECONYL® regenerated nylon, a yarn made of abandoned fishing nets, fabric scraps & industrial plastic from landfills and oceans all over the world. The yarn is woven into a premium swimwear fabric which is soft and silky to the touch, and is used instead of virgin nylon which is normally made out of crude oil or coal.
SEPTEMBER, was created by Erika Seiko Togashi, a passionate surfer with over fifteen years of design experience for Patagonia, The North Face, J. Crew and Deus Ex Machina. Noticing a lack of timeless, elegant and sustainable surf & swimwear in the industry, she formed SEPTEMBER as an independent and self-funded brand with a passion and determination to create modern, sustainable surf & swimwear for all.
