The 1L11-01, the first unisex sneaker designed by NORM, is the result of three years of research and development, and is created from 90% recycled materials. It's made of a single piece upper construction with NORM Integrated Loops System [N.I.L.S ] and advanced eco-materials sourced exclusively from Europe. More than a product, it’s a holistic concept that claims the creation of new standards: eco-design, transparency and modernity.
Thanks to their knitting technology, the single piece upper construction made from 6 plastic bottles enables the reduction of material waste by 65%, and offers optimal comfort.
Materials
Norm uses Ecoantex® or Newlife® yarns to make their uppers, insoles cover, labels, ribbons, laces and for the assembly. They are made by Antex in Spain and Sinterama in Italy from 100% recycled post-consumer PET bottles.
SIZING: Norm shoes are manufactured in European sizes.

The focus is on three aspects of sustainability: recycle, reduce and reuse. NORM products are conceived to reduce their carbon footprint from the very first step, by choosing recycled materials, using cutting-edge technology ,and working with the best possible suppliers. Products are designed to last and to be recycled at the end of their lives.

Their costs, suppliers’ names, their location and their carbon footprint. Everything is shared. Nothing is hidden or modified. The more you know, the better purchasing decision you'll be able to make.

4th Norm | Impact
They do everything in their power to reduce their impact on the environment. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to be carbon neutral. So they've come up with solutions to compensate for their footprint, and have started planting trees and rebuilding ecosystems.
NORM sneakers are consciously assembled in Portugal, with two trees are planted for each pair sold.

Delivery
As a marketplace, all items are shipped to you directly by our brands, using tracked delivery. If you have purchased multiple items from different brands at the same time, each item will be sent separately.
The majority of our brands offer free domestic shipping (or free over a certain spend limit).
Some offer free international shipping depending on your location and / or order value.
Where this isn’t the case, the majority of orders will have shipping costs no higher than the following:

Our brands usually dispatch items within 1–2 days of your order. Shipping can take between 3–10 days depending on where you are based and where the brand is based. See our Delivery page for full details.

Returns

Please note, return costs will vary depending on the brand's location in relation to yours. The brand's country is mentioned on the product page.
If you order an item that ships to you from within your own country, there will be not be any additional taxes, duties or fees on receipt of goods.
If you order an item that ships to you from another country, your order may be subject to import duties, which are the result of international trade agreements between countries. However please note that:
- For UK customers, many items made in the EU are also exempt from any import charges;
- For US customers, all orders under $800 are also duty free, which means there will be no additional fees applied;
- For EU customers, all orders from within the EU are exempt from any import charges.
