Founders
Husband and wife team Alex and Paula Pèrez founded NAE to bring sustainability into fashion. Alex is an IT professional, while Paula has a Masters in Information Management. The couple both also studied Applied Mathematics before exploring their passion for entrepreneurship to launch NAE.

Materials
NAE loves working with plant-based materials such as leather made from pineapples, apples, cork, and recycled PET. The brand also uses organic cotton and recycled materials such as car tyres. Their sustainable and cruelty free materials are sourced in Spain, Italy, and Portugal.

Production
All shoes and accessories made by NAE are manufactured in certified factories locally in Portugal, which they audit regularly.
