Created consciously from cruelty-free materials, Agazi's vegan shoes are chic and contemporary, fusing comfort and style with sustainability. The company also gives back: it provides shoes to homeless shelters and children's care homes,

Founder

Former lawyer Agniezska Ziolek created Agazi from a desire to revolutionise the shoe industry with an offering that was wearable, versatile, and sustainable.

“We strongly declare in every aspect of our activity that human rights – particularly minority rights – are extremely important to us and we will always fight for them.”

Materials

Agazi works with materials such as plant leathers made from grapes, apples and cactus, as well as a polyurethane consisting of 69% bio-based materials. The linings of the shoes are made with sustainably sourced bamboo or organic cotton, while the soles are made from natural cork. Most materials used by the brand are sourced from Italy.

Production

All of the brand's production is conducted locally in central Poland. The factory is powered by a solar farm and uses water from the company's own well.

People

All people employed by Agazi are paid a living wage. The factory where Agazi's shoes are made was set up by the founder's family decades ago, and some of the employees have worked there for 25-30 years. The founder regularly visits the factories herself. The workforce is 95% female, and some of the workers are Ukrainian refugees to whom the company provided job and housing.

Packaging

Each pair of Agazi shoes comes in a bamboo bag and a paper box. The brand's warehouse uses recycled filling paper and boxes.

Animals

Agazi is a vegan company, working with PETA-Approved Vegan suppliers and able to trace vegan components in their products.
