Producing high-quality children's shoes, UK-based brand Dubs focus on creating lightweight styles with cloud-like comfort that make playing effortlessly fun. Combining sustainability at every step with designs that kids actually want, Dubs offers easy solutions for parents too – machine washable, durable and easy put on and take off, these shoes are made to make parents' life simpler. Children grow quickly, so when the shoes no longer fit, parents can re-sell them on the Dubs pre-loved platform.

Founders

Stuart Davis and Gary Cadogan founded Dubs during the Covid-19 lockdown. As a new father, Stuart was struggling with cheaply made fast-fashion shoes for his daughter Leila. Doing some research, he found that two million shoes were discarded per week in the UK, with children's shoes being a major contributor. Stuart then teamed up with his friend Gary, a fashion designer, to create long-lasting, durable children's sneakers.

“At Dubs, our mission is simple: to create the best kids' sneakers—shoes that parents can trust and little legends love to wear. We’re not just making sneakers. We’re changing the way parents buy kids’ shoes—for good.”

Materials

Dubs is a PVC-free brand, using recycled plastic bottles, sugarcane, and recycled foam in their designs.

Production

All Dubs designs are produced in China. The company has its own Dubs Charter, which is meant to ensure that every decision prioritises sustainability, durability, and circularity. Their 3D knit technology creates uppers with nearly zero material waste, using high-quality recycled yarns. Research by Dubs in collaboration with London South Bank University confirmed that Dubs require 19% less energy and produce 34% lower CO₂ emissions than traditional sneakers.

Dubs operates a fair labour policy for all their direct suppliers. All workers in the supply chain are paid a living wage.

Animals

Dubs offers a vegan range, in the process of receiving Vegan Society certification.
