Founders

Paul and Elaine Steckler didn't find much of quality on the market when it came to accessories for their own dogs - Oscar and Hooch - as most high-quality products were made from animal leather, which the pair knew to be both bad for the environment and harsh on dogs' fur - both founders are vegetarians and wanted to avoid any animal-derived products. So they crafted a brand that would be fully vegan and respectful of the dogs themselves.

Materials

Recycled plastic bottles are often used to Oscar & Hooch's collections to ensure sustainability as well as vegan production. The brand is also PVC-free.

Production

The company's manufacturing takes place locally in the UK. Waste is carefully monitored and limited. The brand is moving towards carbon-neutral distribution and manufacturing. Its goal is for all ranges to be fully recycled or recyclable by 2026.
