Designed in Canada, SKYLA's eco-conscious vegan handbags were created with the purpose of combining style, sustainability, and social consciousness. Crafted through elevated workmanship, each SKYLA bag is a reflection of values and style.

Founder

With a background in management and a passion for ethical entrepreneurship, Silvia Gallo had a vision to provide consumers with on-trend handbags while championing ethical practices. Each SKYLA handbag is lovingly crafted using recycled vegan materials, reflecting Silvia's dedication to cruelty-free fashion. Through her brand, Silvia aims to inspire the next generation to make choices that contribute to a brighter, greener future.

“As we believe that sustainability should be accessible to all, SKYLA brings you a collection of vegan handbags that's not just ethically made but also attainable. We've shattered the myth that being socially responsible means compromising on style.”

Materials

SKYLA focuses on recycled materials: GRS-certified recycled polyurethane, as well as recycled nylon and rPET plastic bottles all feature in the collection.

Production

The brand's manufacturing takes place in China, and the company conducts regular audits and personal visits.

People

SKYLA ensures that no underage workers are present in its supply chain, and that equality is maintained throughout the processes. Other standards that the brand values include a high standard of air quality and temperature control, readily available fire extinguishers as well as a clear evacuation plan, structurally sound manufacturing facilities, and an overall pleasant working environment.

Animals

SKYLA is a fully vegan brand and donates to animal rights organisation Animal Justice.

Packaging

At factory level, the bags are packaged in recycled poly bags. When shipped to the consumer, they are placed in a recycled box.
