Style Classics That Will Stand The Test of Time
The Fashion Weeks are back - and soon, any fashion media will fill up with recounts of trends, what is new and cool, and the "must-buys for next season." Alluring as it may be to get caught up in the frenzy, conscious fashion lovers may hesitate: trends are a main driver of overconsumption. Due to the rapid changing of fashion trends, we are producing and discarding more clothing than ever, filling up landfills and causing enormous quantities of greenhouse gas emissions. Rejecting trends and aiming for timelessness is one of the best ways we can combat fashion's waste issues.

Timeless style doesn't need to mean overhauling your wardrobe entirely (and in fact it often shouldn't), but rather small and consistent tweaks. "To me, timeless fashion is not a specific style or kind of item, but finding clothes that you really love," says Melina Bucher, founder of the eponymous vegan accessory brand. "I think we all know the feeling of having a huge closet full of clothing, but grabbing the same ten items that we really love over and over again. I think the best way to approach timeless fashion is to realise which kind of items those are - which fabrics, cuts and pieces you are leaning towards."
We rounded up some of the purchases that will make your style stand out - and help your wardrobe stand the test of time.

Zeta Shoes Minho Olive Leather Vegan Moccasins Black & White
A monochrome combo is a surefire way to channel timeless chic without ever looking boring - and these moccasins from Zeta Shoes perfectly strike that balance. And speaking of...

This gender-neutral design from Ration.L is the one classic sneaker you'll keep coming back to - an unfussy style in a crisp, clean white is the ideal complement to a sweeping maxi dress come warmer days, but can also be worn with straight-leg jeans or a relaxed trouser and structured coat in the in-between season.
