As the name suggests, this Spanish accessory brand was born from admiration – for nature, for beauty, for women, for commitment to change. MAISON ADMIRE takes innovation one step further by incorporating 3D printing into its design process. Their sculptural designs are fit for a royal: they've won over Queen Letizia of Spain, who's been seen carrying one of their bags.

“I believe that transforming our perspective can change the world, because progress lies in daring to look at things from a different angle.”

Founder

An award-winning creative director at numerous advertising and design festivals, with over fifteen years of experience in communications for major international brands, as well as a professor of design and photography, MAISON ADMIRE is founder Maider Mendaza's most personal project. Inspired by the birth of her son, Maider focused her creative energy toward a more meaningful purpose, resulting in a project where she seeks to organically integrate the great passions that have driven her life and career: creativity, design, feminism, environmentalism, and new technologies.

Materials

MAISON ADMIRE works with vegan, organic, and recycled materials for their accessories. Materials that feature in their ranges include apple leather from Uppeal; Seaqual's recycled plastic extracted from the sea; and 3D-printed PLA, a bio-based material made from corn, sugarcane, and tapioca roots.  Combining biomaterials with a 3D-printing technology to create the bag handles, MAISON ADMIRE has taken material innovation to the next level – with beautiful results.
