Founder

Eleanor Tuohy worked in TV production for decades. Frustrated with the lack of elegant, breathable underwear that was responsibly made, she decided to start her own label, working with a technical partner with extensive lingerie experience.

Materials

Tencel, made from wood-pulp cellulose, is a material that features frequently in Wildness collections. Organic cotton and organic bamboo also feature, alongside recycled nylon. The brand is free from elastane and PVC, and most of the materials it uses carry organic certifications.

Production

Wildness manufactures in Romania, where their designs are made by lingerie experts. The brand works with recycling partners to ensure responsible handling at the end of life. The company also works on measuring their carbon footprint so that their impact can be minimised.

People

The founder visits the brand’s manufacturing partners and suppliers, requesting evidence that EU standards are followed.

Animals

Wildness is a vegan brand.

Packaging

Packaging is researched so only minimal quantities are used. Each piece is wrapped in recycled tissue and sent in compostable bags, or carbon-neutral recyclable boxes.
