Your Vegan Party Wardrobe Starts Here
It's the end of the year – that glittering time when party invitations seem to follow one after another. It's a time for socialising, laughter, and glasses of sparkling wine between bites of mince pie. All of this, of course, means that fashion takes on a whole new guise this season.

Gone are the muted tones and sombre silhouettes. December is the month when we get to leave our trusty capsule-wardrobe basics behind and slip into something more, well, festive. Enter velvet, sparkle, and all kinds of glitter. Say hello to high-octane accessories such as shiny clutches and evening-appropriate heels. 'Tis the season to dress up, and we're here to show you how.
Firstly, be ready to go bold. Whether it's a slinky black dress like this Zandra dress from Baukjen or a patterned design, such as their zebra-printed Jazlyn dress in planet-friendly Tencel material, heads will turn and all eyes will be on the daring dress. Not really a dress person? No worries, Baukjen still have you covered with their Lesley-Ann Jumpsuit made from sustainable ECOVERO. This dramatic design is a natural-born scene stealer: team it with a pair of heels and a silver clutch, and you're ready for the night.
On the subject of bags, there is one thing to be said when it comes to evening dressing: keep it small. This is not the time for comfy totes and oversize designs that can fit your entire life. Rather, party season allows the purely decorative designs to shine. You know, those wildly impractical, delectable little bags that look more like jewellery than something that's used for functionality. To add some shine to your look, try BEEN London's Yael Clutch in Piñatex pineapple leather – this hand-crafted style is an instant glamouriser, and would beautifully complement the Baujken jumpsuit mentioned above.
Not one for metallics? How about bright red, like the this chic bag from Lerisa? Made from Grape Leather, this simple shoulder bag seems made for Christmas parties. Its bright hue lights up dark December nights – and it's more spacious than it seems, fitting every essential for a night out.
Moving on into smaller accessory theory, it's time to add jewellery. If you want something that makes a subtle statement, turn to Little By Little for a hint of gold and green – two classic Christmas colours. This art deco-inspired bangle is made from gold-plated silver in a transparent supply chain that champions ethical production. Alternatively, team your party dress with a pair of dangly Citrine earrings from Ana Dyla, whose extravagant pair is crafted from recycled silver. With every Ana Dyla purchase, you support the brand's dedication to fair mining and help create fair-trade jobs around the globe – now that's true holiday spirit.
Last but definitely not least, choosing the right shoes is what will truly set your look apart. Elevate your outfit with a subtle sheen by slipping on Guru MTP's Panther metallic heels. A slim heel and a metallic tone is the quickest way to add after-dark appeal to a daytime ensemble, so use these heels to make a nine-to-five outfit ready to party. If you're looking to really turn up the volume, bring on the height and the glitter courtesy of Willa Phoenix and the Las Vegas sandals. Dance in the new year with these celebratory stilettos that will instantly add a party feel to any look.
