Here's What's On A Stylist's Winter Wishlist

Kristine Kilty is a rarity. An editorial stylist with work for Chanel, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, and L'Officiel under her belt, she has also styled celebrities such as Lewis Hamilton, Boy George, Greta Gerwig and Will Poulter – but she is also an avid advocate for animals and a proponent of sustainable fashion. A passionate vegan, Kilty is a massive proponent of material innovation and animal-free innovation in fashion. This, alongside her bold yet sophisticated signature aesthetic, is why we were so excited to have a peek at her cold-weather fashion wish list.

By Sascha Camilli writer, speaker, activist, and vegan fashion expert.

"A perfect winter wardrobe strikes the balance between practicality and style," says Kilty. "It’s built on layerable pieces that keep you cosy on the coldest days, yet can be easily pared back as the seasons shift."

How did Kilty go about creating the edit? She was inspired by wearable versatility. "The best looks take you from crisp outdoor walks to checking your coat at the cloakroom and feeling fabulous for a night out (without overheating!). I love versatile staples that are chic yet comfortable, and structured outerwear that feels polished yet wearable. And rich jewel-toned pops of colour that add a luxurious statement to darker wardrobe classics. These key pieces will carry you from late autumn through winter and into early spring."
