Founder

Dilan Bozdag's family owned a leather company – and after graduating with a psychology degree, Bozdag realised that she did not want to work in psychology, but rather to carry on the family tradition by starting her own leather brand. Going vegan prompted her to put her brand on hold – until the relaunch with fully vegan materials.

Materials

RARA Atelier specialises in materials that derive from waste: leather made from surplus materials from the olive, tea, and paper industries. Their bags are lined with cotton.

Production

The items are manufactured in Turkey. The use of leftover materials is prioritised to minimise waste.

All workers in the supply chain are paid a living wage.
